我老爸告訴的

十八歲的那年，他剛畢業，靠爺爺的關係在學校裡安排了一個教書的職位。每個月賺著十八塊錢。那是他的第一份工。那時，每個壯男都想要一隻上海錶。而每個月賺著十八塊的我爸也是。當時的上海錶公價大概一百大元。

「爸，我想買一隻手錶。」
「你長大啦，也應該自己決定。」

我爸作了兩年工，都把錢換了隻手錶回來。他開心不已，現在說起這件事來也不其然地笑了出來。直到一個月的那個晚上，輪到我爸在那間祖屋外看穀，他把手錶放在一旁。眼睛再張開的時候，手錶就不見了。

二十一歲，那天爺爺病到了，他說要幫爺爺去抬石頭。就是那天，他便就收到公社隊長的通知，可以來香港。他麻木了一陣，回家後不知為什麼，哭了。

十八歲的那年，她們在讀高，等著下年考公開試考。每個星期爸媽都會給她們零用錢。那時，每個同學都有一個名牌書包，不是路易威登，就是愛瑪仕，好像每個都有一個富爸爸類似的。而沒有任何收入的她決定也要一個。
她儲蓄了一個月，把錢都換了一個Long Champ包包回來。直到兩星期後，他覺得那個包不是太漂亮，以後就沒有再用過了。
二十歲那年，她放榜了。她被派到將軍澳IVE裡繼續讀書，她不知為什麼，哭了。
